Pick several at once, search with tag: and make:
0.0.14 finished the catalog: books, printable labels, horde categories and tags, and who can write what. 0.0.15 is about getting through a pile without clicking one row at a time.
Checkboxes in the picker
Labels → Add and the compatible-machine pickers on software, parts, and books now let you select more than one result.
- Each hit is a checkbox. Tick a few, or Select visible for everything on the current search.
- Add selected puts them all on the print list, or fills several make/model rows, then the picker closes.
- Search again and the ticks stay. Combine a search with a selection if you are walking through the horde in batches.
Store, find, and “choose a bin” stay one click. Those are picking a destination, not a stack.
Search operators
The same language works in the picker and in the Machines, Parts, Software, and Books search boxes.
Type field:value. Combine them. Quote a phrase that has spaces.
tag:sid— a whole tag, not a substring of another tag.make:Commodoreormanufacturer:ormfr:model:64publisher:Epyxorpub:author:"Jim Butterfield"orby:name:,serial:/sn:,number:/pn:,isbn:,year:,machine:(a part installed on that chassis)
Also category:, status:, condition:, type:, platform:, version:, media:, edition:, format:, location:, and notes:.
Plain words still search the usual fields. make:Commodore leftover is a Commodore whose name or notes mention leftover. An operator that a kind does not have hides that kind — author:Butterfield in the picker is books, not machines, and tag: does not return bins.
Placeholders on those search boxes show a couple of examples so you do not have to remember the list.
